Yi In-jwa
Leader of the 1728 rebellion of hard-line Soron and Southerners who denied Yeongjo’s legitimacy; he took Cheongju before being defeated
He raised troops in the musin year of 1728, claiming Yeongjo was implicated in Gyeongjong's death, so the revolt is also called the Musin Rebellion. He took Cheongju Fortress but was put down by government forces. The revolt led Yeongjo to push his policy of impartiality more firmly.
