Kim Sang-ok
Uiyeoldan member who bombed Jongno police station in 1923 and took his own life after a gunfight with the Japanese police
After the March First Movement he organised a secret group at home targeting collaborators and Japanese officials, then fled to China and joined the Uiyeoldan. In January 1923 he returned to Seoul and bombed Jongno police station, notorious for arresting independence activists. Hiding in the city, he was surrounded by hundreds of Japanese police, fought them alone and used his last bullet on himself.
